ABOUT JULIA W. WHITE

I am a painter and mixed media artist living at the outer edge of the suberbs in Western Washington State. I am inspired by the mystery and the ghost stories of the Pacific Northwest.  My work contains depictions of buildings or people and animals with ambiguous expressions, however the paintings also hold deep emotion and honesty, which emerges naturally in the process of working. I invite the viewer into this space to open up to their own story. My hope is they will be moved and curious by what they see and feel.
